You know, I'm not one to complain too much. I mean, I'm a werewolf and even dealing with that doesn't make me complain. I think I've handled everything pretty well so far. It hasn't interrupted my life as much as Alex says it might in the future (not looking forward to the complications), and I get to continue going to school like a normal guy unless it's around the full moon. It's all been pretty straightforward, even after I found out for sure that Sophie was all vampired up.
But I suddenly can't handle something. That guy. Or should I say, that vampire guy. He keeps hanging around like he's going to just get in the League with the rest of us. He's cozying up to Sophie like he's been her best friend forever. It's really starting to irritate me.
Sure, he helped us out of a jam, but that doesn't make me like him. There's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way. :/

Summer Haze
Sophie's been really annoyed with everyone lately. Can't say I blame her. We're all cooped up here together and we haven't had a single case in three months. It's weird, and it means all our energy stays bottled up.
I wouldn't mind going for a run in the forest, but it's not close enough to a full moon for me to shapeshift, since I'm still such a new wolf. So I have to just be satisfied with a short run in the area surrounding the bunker. I know Sophie's gone off far away somewhere, though, because I saw her take off at her full run earlier. No fair.
Alex says I should go with him into town later on. It'll be nice to get our around some other people. Of course, he's thinking of it as a training "mission" because I have to get accustomed to being around human beings besides the kids at the school. That's all fine and everything, but I really just want to get out of here so I'll say anything to get Alex to give me a break.

summer sucks this year
I thought I'd be able to go home for at least a little while this summer, but Alex says no. He says that we can't risk it so close to when I was bitten. I haven't had any problems yet, so I don't know what he's worried about. I guess it would be hard to explain to Mom why I suddenly want rare steak instead of tofu and rice...
Still, it's not easy being cooped up in the bunker all summer. It's weird sharing a room with a zombie who doesn't sleep. And Sophie and Thalia are gone most of the time. They're the only ones I feel even a little comfortable with, even though Thalia mostly just makes fun of me. Sophie's assured me that Thalia only makes fun of people she likes.
It'll be the full moon again soon, though, and Alex wants me to practice my shapeshifting that night. At least that's sort of interesting.

It's been a while
The wolf thing is going... weirdly, I guess. It's been a long time since I've felt like posting much. We had a few strange things going on, but things have calmed down. For a while, anyway.
I keep telling the others that I think something bigger is going on up here. They all kind of dismiss me because I'm the new guy. Even Sophie does. Of course, she's just dismissive of me anyway. Okay, so maybe not dismissive, but she definitely doesn't include me the way I want to be included.
Wow, I sound like the leader of an emo band or something. Scary.
Oh, wait... A werewolf emo band? How cool would that be? Too bad I don't know any other good werewolves.

I'm a wolf. How weird is that?
I'm not really one to do the blog thing, but considering what's happened to me lately, I figure it might be a good idea to sort of document, you know, my life.
I guess I should start by saying that I'm just a normal guy. I go to this really awesome school in the Pacific Northwest. I'm going to be a biologist one day. And it's totally cool because there's this girl in all my classes that is beyond amazing. She's got a huge secret, though, and she won't tell me, even though I keep asking.
See, about a week ago, I followed her and a group of her friends off campus. It wasn't, you know, smart of me to do or anything, but my curiousity got the better of me. I mean, not only is she a little off, but her friends are, too, so I just wanted to see what was going on. Turns out they've got this League thing and they're all undead or immortal or whatever. And now I am too.
That night that I followed them, I was bitten by a werewolf. So next month, I'll be minding my own business the night of the full moon and bam! I'll be a wolf. I never even knew stuff like that could happen, but here I am.
I'm a wolf. And I guess now that I'm immortal, too, I'm also a crimefighter.
